Performed correctly, pommel circles require a great deal of support and core strength, as well as rhythm, on the part of the athlete. In fact most new athletes will struggle significantly in even attempting a single repetition. The learning curve for learning correct pommel circles is literally often measured in years. Bucket circles, used correctly, will greatly accelerate this learning process.

Я к этим самым pommel circles давно присматриваюсь, только вот с тренировочной методикой определиться пока не могу. А тут такое интересное решение :) буду думать где бы организовать похожее ведерко или нечто подобное на сходном принципе.
